Julia Wilmerding, VA

Julia was born in Switzerland and moved to Wyoming in 1991. She taught horse packing for over 20 years and has worked with animals (large and small) her entire life. In 2018, Taeha Collins, CVT approached Julia to see if she had any interest in working at the Stockdoc Practice. Julia made the decision to start in 2019 and has worked toward technician skills utilizing on-the-job training, as well as, online and attending continuing education and any other opportunities for furthering her skills as an experienced team member. Julia loves orthopedics and the diversity of working in a mixed animal practice. Her goal is to take the VTNE when the new legislation is passed. She's all in and looking forward to working with the Association this year as Vice President and in the future.
