The Wyoming Veterinary Technician Association is dedicated to advancing veterinary technology by providing quality continuing education, increasing awareness of the significance of our profession, and elevating the standards of the entire veterinary support team.

WELCOME

Statewide support for ALL veterinary staff including:

• Continuing education at least once per year
• Opportunities to get involved with the community to teach them about the veterinary health care team (i.e. ideas and support for local functions)
• Social events
• Team efforts for supporting the veterinary health care team and a chance to get involved at the state and national levels to promote veterinary technology
• Experienced individuals with leadership, camaraderie, and a sounding board to discuss issues, articles, jobs, futures, and etc.

Taeha Collins, CVT

Taeha Collins has been a member since certifying with the WyVTA in 2005. She has been in the veterinary field since 1995. Taeha has 6 dogs, 8 cats, 9 horses, 60 angus cows, 1 cowboy, 1 daughter and 1 grandaughter. She has been employed at The Stock Doc in Riverton, WY since 2015 as Lead Tech and HR Director. Her passions include all things vet medicine, riding horses in the sagebrush, art projects, ranching on her grandfather's homestead on the Wind River Reservation and learning how to be a grandma.
